And the Winner Is ...

You voted, and your favorite compassionate hound and human are Belle and her guardian, Michael Charbeneau, of San Antonio, Texas. Belle loves to go to the park with Michael and his wife, Valerie, who wouldn't wear an animal any more than they would eat one. Michael and Valerie are vegetarians and know that if you wear fur, you might be wearing Belle's relatives, as investigations on Chinese fur farms found that workers skin thousands of dogs and cats alive for the international fur trade.

Belle and Michael's winning photo will appear in PETA's Animal Times magazine, an honor shared by Charlize Theron and her dog, Tucker. Other "If You Wouldn't Wear Your Dog" poster celebrities include Heather Mills McCartney, Nicholas Gonzalez, Goran Visnjic, and Simon Cowell.
