Nicholas Gonzalez Just Says ‘No’ to Fur

One of People en Español’s “50 Most Beautiful” and one of its “25 Hottest Celebrity Bachelors,” Nicholas Gonzalez proves with his new anti-fur ad that his appeal is far from skin deep. Words can’t express the joy we felt (well, maybe some words can, like “elation,” “exultation,” and “extreme pleasure”) when the OC hunk agreed to pose for PETA along with his best furry friend, Jack. And while some of us might not mind being cuffed by Nicholas’ Law and Order: SVU character, fur-wearers take heed: This is one hottie who finds fur far from arresting.

Nicholas joins Charlize Theron, Goran Visnjic, and Simon Cowell for the series of PETA ads that makes the point that just like dogs, animals killed for fur have feelings and families. Animals killed for their fur are skinned alive, clubbed to death, trapped, and genitally electrocuted, sometimes just for a little trim. Please, if you wouldn’t wear your dog, you should never, ever wear ANY fur.
