Sign Pam Anderson’s Canadian Seal Petition

Pamela Anderson mails PETA's seal hunt petition from Halifax to Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper.

Add your name to the petition urging Prime Minister Stephen Harper to end Canada's cruel seal hunt. Please forward the petition to your friends and family.

Canadian-born Pamela joins PETA—which has organized protests at Canadian Embassies worldwide—in condemning the hunt, in which up to 335,000 baby harp seals will be bludgeoned to death this year. In an appeal to the Prime Minister, Pam wrote, “As a proud Canadian who frequently travels abroad, I am alarmed that people are starting to see Canada as a country more beholden to a pack of greedy hunters and to the seal-skin ‘fashion’ whims of a few countries than to the massive international outcry against such a barbaric activity.”

Make an urgent gift to support PETA's international work to end the fur trade.

Please sign and forward the petition below today.

I, the undersigned, hereby request that the Canadian government end the cruel harp seal hunt. Hunters intend to bludgeon to death up to 335,000 baby seals this year. Please stop the tragic annual slaughter of these innocent animals and put a permanent end to this blight on Canada's international reputation.
